The London is Swaine Adeney Brigg's versatile and lightweight travel Suit Carrier. Employing the finest hand-finished materials and individually created in our Cambridge workshop by a single craftsman, each London garment carrier incorporates traditional styling and modern functionality.

- Hand-finished traditional English bridle leather, tanned with natural plant extracts.
- Environmentally-conscious leather with a superior depth and richness that improves with maturity.
- Bridle handle composed of 8 individually sculpted and hand-sewn leather components, ensuring comfort and longevity.
- Brass hardware, cast and hand polished to a satin finish in England. (Made this way to retain the natural grandeur and strength of the brass.)
- Lined in luxurious cotton to protect garments whilst travelling.
- Bridle hide leather shoulder strap.

Did you know?
- Garments in the 1600's were traditionally carried in trunks made of oak, pine or cedar. Trunks were often made with the animal hides of deer, horses and cows.
- Brass ornaments such as tacks, nails, and locks were used in the 1700's to decorate trunks and to differentiate an individual trunk maker.
- Restaurant cars were introduced for first class passengers on UK trains in 1896 and four years later for second class travellers. (Carrying one's own bag was virtually unheard of!)
